JAVA Full Stack Senior developer

About the position

We are seeking a JAVA Full Stack Senior Developer with 10 to 15 years of experience to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will contribute to the RATool SARA Collateral and Eagle Eye projects, which include the CyberRiskToolUI and CyberRiskDataStore applications. This role requires participation in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, technical architecture design, application design, development, testing, and deployment. The candidate will also provide production support following the go-live of applications and ensure the overall quality, performance, and scalability of applications.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, technical architecture design, application design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Provide production support following the go-live of applications.
• Design and develop both front-end and back-end components of web applications using Java-based technologies.
• Collaborate with team members to gather and understand project requirements.
• Write clean, maintainable code following Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles.
• Develop unit and integration tests, debug issues, and perform code reviews.
• Write MarkLogic database scripts based on user story requirements.
• Ensure the overall quality, performance, and scalability of applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve broken CI/CD pipelines and address other technical tasks as needed.
• Conduct exploratory testing of applications.

Requirements

• 10 to 15 years of experience in Java Full Stack Development.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: Vue.js 2.6, Thymeleaf, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with back-end technologies: Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, RabbitMQ, REST APIs, Node.js.
• Familiarity with methodologies: Scrum, Agile, Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience with testing frameworks: JUnit Jupiter, Jest, Cypress, WireMock.
• Knowledge of databases: MarkLogic (NoSQL).
• Experience with cloud technologies: Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), Tanzu.

Nice-to-haves

• Participate in daily Scrum calls to provide status updates on ongoing work, as well as to discuss impediments or challenges encountered during development.
• Engage in retrospective sessions, fostering open communication and knowledge sharing with team members.
