Java Kotlin JVM Developer

About the position

We are looking for a Java Kotlin JVM Developer with over 5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of software from inception to production, working on a mixture of green- and brown-field projects. You will learn from and contribute to your peer group while applying your experience to guide the shape of our platform and help mentor and guide the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Java/Kotlin/JVM.
• Experience with databases: Postgres, MongoDB, Redis.
• Working experience using GitHub, Bitbucket, RhodeCode.
• Familiarity with production monitoring and logging tools (i.e. CloudWatch, Prometheus, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, ELF).
• Experience with container orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, GCP GKE, AWS ECS, AWS EKS.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms (we are using GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of Git, Gitflow, Jira, Gitlab, Trello, Scrum.
• Experience with frameworks: Ktor, Spring.
• Strong creativity and problem-solving skills.
• Adaptability and flexibility.
• Aptitude for technology; curiosity, passion, and startup mindset.
• Applied statistics skills: distributions, statistical testing, regression analysis.
• Innovative thinking.
