About the position

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and development of jet propulsion systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Take part in propulsion-related projects from concept through testing, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with goals and budgets.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for propulsion systems, analyze results, and document findings to support validation and certification.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to integrate propulsion systems seamlessly into aircraft platforms.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and technological advancement to develop next-generation propulsion systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree or Ph.D. strongly preferred for senior candidates but not required.
  • 2+ years of experience in jet propulsion engineering or a related aerospace field, with a proven track record of successful projects.
  • Expertise in propulsion system design, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and aerospace materials.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management abilities, with excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
