About the position

The Junior Business Intelligence Analyst will support one of the nation's largest premier credit unions by working closely with BI Developers and the channel manager. The role focuses on extracting and manipulating data, designing dashboards, and maintaining data solutions, all within a hybrid work environment in Mclean, VA.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions using Snowflake, including data modeling, schema design, and ETL processes.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Build and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to visualize data insights and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform data analysis and profiling to identify data quality issues and implement solutions.
• Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis and related areas, including trend analysis, extracting actionable insights, and supporting decision-making with data.
• Extensive and proven data analytical skills.
• Hands-on skills in Tableau, SQL, and working with large datasets.
• Experience with R, Python, and Snowflake is a plus.
• Expertise in presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives, and information clearly and concisely.
