Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Software Developer to join our team in the DMV area. We have opportunities in the Washington, DC area as well as Northern Virginia and Maryland. If you are looking for an opportunity in any of those locations, we encourage you to apply. As a Junior Software Developer, you will assist in the design, engineering, analysis, and development of software systems. You will also assist in designing, analyzing, and developing Software Delivery processes, including DevOps pipelines. Participation in Software Development and Deployment processes will be a key part of your role. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and involves working in a collaborative environment where communication with co-workers, management, and customers is essential. You will be expected to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, and you may need to deliver presentations to share your findings and solutions. The physical demands of the job include being in a stationary position for more than 50% of the time and occasionally moving about the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the design, engineering, analysis, and development of software systems.
  • Assist in designing, analyzing, and developing Software Delivery processes, including DevOps pipelines.
  • Participate in Software Development and Deployment processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related discipline.
  • High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of additional experience may be used in lieu of required degree.
  • DoD 8570.01-m- IAT Level II Certification must be obtained within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order: CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Development or related discipline.
