About the position

Kendall Auto Group is seeking a dedicated Service Administrative Assistant to enhance our service team at Kendall Anchorage Ford. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth communication within the service department and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. The Service Administrative Assistant will be responsible for fielding all incoming calls for the service department, addressing client inquiries, and connecting them with the appropriate service advisor. This position requires a proactive approach to customer service, as the assistant will also be responsible for taking messages, greeting clients in person on occasion, and making outbound calls to schedule service recall appointments and provide service updates. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and be comfortable handling a high volume of calls, with expectations of taking up to 30 calls per hour. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of service that Kendall Auto Group is known for, and it offers an opportunity for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Field all incoming calls for the service department.
  • Answer client questions and connect them with the correct service advisor.
  • Take messages as needed and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Greet clients in person occasionally to enhance customer experience.
  • Make outbound calls to schedule service recall appointments and provide service updates.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service while managing a high volume of calls.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Comfortable handling a high volume of phone calls, up to 30 per hour.
  • Basic clerical skills and familiarity with service department operations.
