About the position
As a Kennel Technician at Dog Rescue R Us, you will play a vital role in the daily care and well-being of animals in our facility. This part-time position requires a commitment to providing exceptional care for our furry residents, ensuring they are fed, exercised, and kept in clean living environments. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing kennels and animal living areas, which is crucial for maintaining a healthy environment for the animals. Additionally, you will administer medications as directed by our veterinary staff, monitor the health and behavior of the animals, and report any concerns to your supervisor. Accurate record-keeping of animal care and behavior is also an essential part of your responsibilities. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about animal care and are looking to gain experience in a supportive environment. You will receive on-the-job training to help you develop the necessary skills for this position. The work schedule is flexible, with shifts available in the evening and morning, allowing you to balance your work with other commitments. We are looking for dedicated individuals who can work 2 hours per night, 5 days a week, with the possibility of working weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
