About the position

The Key Account Manager for Biosurgery at Corza Medical is responsible for driving sales growth and managing key accounts within the Pennsylvania and West Virginia territories. This role involves direct selling of medical devices, developing strategic relationships with surgeons and hospital personnel, and providing clinical support in operating rooms. The position requires a proactive approach to achieving sales quotas and maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring compliance with vendor credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales quotas through the direct selling of all Corza Biosurgery products and services.
  • Identify, qualify, prepare, and execute effective sales strategies to maintain existing business and support revenue growth opportunities.
  • Lead territory development and activities, providing accurate forecasts to the Area Sales Director.
  • Propose responsible expenditures for local meetings and customer education activities.
  • Develop, negotiate, close, and manage profitable agreements.
  • Increase awareness and educate physicians on the accurate use of Corza Medical products in surgical procedures.
  • Assess trends in disease state management and competitor strategies by monitoring internal and external indicators.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of related programs and value-added offerings.
  • Effectively deliver strategic messaging in various settings, including trade shows and presentations.
  • Conduct market surveillance, gain customer insights, and provide competitive intelligence.
  • Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders at all levels within hospitals.
  • Conduct post-sales activities, including implementation, product education, and ongoing support.
  • Maintain all Vendor Credentialing requirements.
  • Become a subject matter expert and trusted client advisor for Corza Medical products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related area.
  • 5+ years of medical device sales experience.
  • Experience with hospital-based selling in the operating room and managing a large territory.
  • Demonstrated successful sales track record.
  • Expertise in delivering hands-on clinician training.
  • Established professional relationships with key surgeons and Procurement Management.
  • Proven sales capability, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and close business effectively.
  • At least 50% travel required, with preference for candidates living in Pittsburgh or Harrisburg, PA.
