About the position

As a Team Member at KFC, you will be the face of our restaurant, serving as the first point of contact for customers. Your role is crucial as you will greet customers with a friendly smile, prepare our world-famous food, and ensure that every customer has a positive experience. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness, ensuring that you serve only the best to our customers, just as you would to your family or friends. Your efforts will contribute significantly to the reasons why customers return to our restaurant time and again. You will work in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and cooperation are essential. Your positive energy and ability to create a welcoming atmosphere will be key to your success in this role. You will also be expected to follow food safety procedures and report any issues to the Manager on Duty or the Restaurant General Manager. This position requires flexibility in scheduling and the ability to lift and carry items as needed, ensuring that you can meet the demands of the job effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Greet each customer with a smile and create a winning experience for every customer.
  • Prepare food items according to KFC standards and ensure quality control.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the restaurant.
  • Cooperate with fellow team members and assist others when needed.
  • Display positive energy and contribute to a great atmosphere within the restaurant.
  • Follow food and safety procedures and report any issues to management.
  • Train on core position responsibilities and keep up to date with training.
  • Work hard to achieve restaurant goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Ability to arrive at work on time.
  • Flexible scheduling availability.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with restaurant's Human Resources policies.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and carry up to 30 feet.
  • Ability to push/pull up to 90 lbs up to 30 feet.
  • Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the work shift.
  • Follow procedures regarding the operation of restaurant equipment.
