At KIPP Public Schools Northern California, we are a thriving nonprofit network of 17 free, public charter schools dedicated to providing all students with the opportunity to create the future they envision for themselves. Our mission is to partner with families and communities to create joyful, academically excellent schools that equip students with the skills and confidence necessary to pursue their chosen paths—be it college, career, or beyond. Our diverse student community consists of over 6,000 students across various locations, including East Palo Alto, Oakland, San Francisco, San Lorenzo, San Jose, Redwood City, and Stockton. We are committed to cultivating a representative team of educators that reflects our students' diversity. As a teacher at KIPP, you will play a crucial role in actualizing the academic and cultural visions of our schools. This involves daily lesson planning, intentional curriculum design, and regular data analysis to support student learning and growth. You will also implement Social Emotional Learning lessons and Restorative Practices to foster a joyful and inclusive classroom environment. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with the school's Leadership Team, including your Instructional Coach, to ensure that all students are learning and progressing. We are dedicated to creating an anti-racist school community, engaging in ongoing development to reflect on our identities and experiences, and regularly analyzing our systems and practices to address the needs of our community.
