As KBS Senior Program Manager (PM3), you will provide critical support in protecting our country. A week in the life of a Senior Program Manager (PM3) involves providing Senior Level PM leadership in the acquisition of engineering and technical Knowledge Based Services (KBS) in support of NSWCCD Code 80, other NSWCCD Codes, and NSWCCD sponsors. Your mission will include research, design and development, test and evaluation, and ongoing operational assessment of model-scale and full-scale surface ships, submarines, small craft, and specialized platforms including sea-based aviation and off-board systems such as amphibious vehicles, autonomous and unmanned vehicles, off-board vehicles, stationary or submersible rigs, tethered systems, and towed or moored sensor systems. You will also provide PM support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division's (NSWCCD) Naval Architecture and Engineering Department (Code 80) in all areas of the PWS including research, engineering, and naval architecture on surface ships, submarines, small craft, and specialized platforms. Your responsibilities will include leading programmatic and project duties in various areas such as Project Management, Electronic Document Library (eDL), Meetings and In-Progress Reviews (IPR), and Programmatic Support. You will lead task areas including Research and Development (R&D) Support, Hydrodynamics and Aerodynamics Engineering Support, Design and Development, Systems Engineering Support, Support of On-Site Test and Fabrication Facilities, Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Support, Design Documentation and Technical Data Support, T&E Support, CDRL Deliverables, and Government Furnished Property (GFP) and GFI.
