About the position

Railhead, Inc. is seeking multiple Junior Knowledge Managers to join our team in Reston, Virginia. This role is pivotal in providing operational and analytical support to the Defense Intelligence Agency's (DIA) Defense Combating Terrorism Office. The primary focus is to drive Department of Defense (DoD) policy, planning, and operational decisions aimed at countering regional and transnational terrorism threats. As a Knowledge Manager, you will engage in mission-critical counterterrorism analysis, concentrating on operational and strategic effects against emerging terrorist threat networks and identities that pose risks to U.S. persons, facilities, and interests. In this position, you will assist in aligning processes and technology to facilitate information sharing among analysts and organizations, enhancing analytic production. You will utilize centralized and peripheral databases, content management systems, and shape workflows and processes to optimize performance. Your responsibilities will include compiling reports on performance metrics and future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities, which encompass search, discovery, storage, and retrieval of data. You will also disseminate intelligence products across various networks and portals, ensuring that critical information reaches the right stakeholders. Your role will encompass a full range of intelligence and administrative support across various intelligence disciplines, including analysis, collection, planning, mission management, research, and operations. You will support analytic divisions by arranging video teleconferences, travel, and training, while also maintaining recordkeeping in accordance with agency regulations and protocols. Additionally, you will assist in processing contractors and support the security officer with daily security processing tasks. As part of your responsibilities, you will manage and create DCTC SharePoint sites, facilitate internal and external customer support for DCTC systems, and perform Data Transfer Officer (DTO) duties. You will also coordinate Senior Leader travel, track Temporary Duty (TDY) for personnel management, and assist with the in- and out-processing of new and departing personnel. This role is essential in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and effectively, contributing to the overall mission of national security.

Responsibilities

  • Assist aligning processes and technology to enable information sharing by analysts and organizations for analytic production.
  • Compile reports on performance and usage metrics and future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities.
  • Disseminate intelligence products across separate networks and portals.
  • Provide a full range of intelligence and administrative support to personnel involved in various intelligence disciplines.
  • Support analytic divisions through arranging video teleconferences, travel, and training.
  • Provide recordkeeping in accordance with all regulations, procedures, and protocols of the agency.
  • Support the staff director within processing and out processing of Contractors.
  • Support DCTC's training function through maintenance of training requirements and records.
  • Build and maintain databases for intelligence monitoring.
  • Assist with administration and management of RFIs.
  • Produce metrics, graphics, and briefings as required to support production management and mission management functions.
  • Manage/create/modify DCTC SharePoint sites and the processes they support.
  • Serve as an informal IT Help Desk to aid in resolving internal customer IT issues.
  • Coordinate Senior Leader travel and file travel vouchers in the Defense Travel System (DTS).
  • Track all Civilian and Military Temporary Duty (TDY) for personnel management.

Requirements

  • Possess a current TS/SCI with poly.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
  • 7 years of experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of terrorist organizations, including group names, geographic locations, leadership, activities, and ideology.
