About the position

The Knowledge Manager at Empower AI plays a crucial role in enhancing the organization's knowledge management practices. This position involves planning, directing, and coordinating the activities of writers and editors who are responsible for preparing knowledge articles. The Knowledge Manager will analyze developments in the specific field to determine the need for knowledge articles and will confer with customer representatives and vendors to establish technical specifications. This includes determining the specific or general subject material to be developed for publication and resolving any issues related to the development and publishing of subject material. In addition to overseeing the writing and editing processes, the Knowledge Manager will set standard procedures for gathering data and writing, ensuring that all knowledge articles meet the required quality standards. The role also involves arranging for the formatting, reproduction, and distribution of material, as well as supervising technical writers and editors who review knowledge articles and technical writing. The Knowledge Manager will be responsible for reviewing the quality of final articles prior to publishing and managing the lifecycle of knowledge and knowledge articles. This includes developing and maintaining the knowledge artifacts of the practice, ensuring that the knowledge base is current and accessible to all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience
  • ITIL V4 certification
  • IAT Level I certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • 12 - 15 years of relevant experience
