About the position

The Knowledge Transfer and Training Manager at Lactalis USA is responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining training programs that align with the company's transformation goals, particularly in relation to the Lactalis Integrated Systems (LIS) program. This role involves continual development of training content and management of knowledge transfer initiatives to support the transition to new processes across Lactalis USA businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Identify training needs by assessing the organization's requirements in collaboration with the Transformation Management Office (TMO) and Business Process Owners (BPOs).
  • Design and implement training content, including custom training programs for eLearning and instructor-led delivery.
  • Manage knowledge transfer by defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to training activities.
  • Coordinate the delivery of training programs and provide train-the-trainer sessions to instructors and supervisors.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and instructors, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Partner with the USA Organizational Development learning team to ensure alignment on existing programs and practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master's degree in Instructional Design, Adult Continuing Education, Human Resource Development, or relevant certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in technical or systems training.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory and best practices.
  • Practical understanding of instructional design principles.
  • Experience with various learning delivery methods.
  • Ability to train, coach, and transition end users to new processes.
  • Skill in course content authoring tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate Rise 360); experience with SAP Enable Now is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written communication and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Project management skills, including maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Relevant certification in instructional design, training management, or talent development.
