About the position

The Chief of Staff will play a crucial role in organizing the life and family office of a busy family entrepreneur. This full-time position is primarily remote, requiring the candidate to be locally based in the Bay Area for weekly meetings and property visits. The role encompasses overseeing estate management, vendor coordination, and ensuring properties are maintained and guest-ready, while also managing various administrative tasks and family logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee small commercial real estate and estate management of commercial space and family homes.
  • Manage vendors and general maintenance of properties.
  • Ensure properties are guest-ready for arrivals and departures.
  • Handle bill payment and oversight for properties.
  • Manage on-site projects as needed.
  • Maintain a calendar for scheduling and appointments.
  • Assist with a significant move to the Bay Area next fall.
  • Keep work-life balance on track and handle paperwork.
  • Collaborate with a growing family office on various tasks.
  • Follow up on taxes and consult with lawyers for document handling and organization.
  • Manage car registration and maintenance.
  • Plan family travel and research projects.
