About the position

As an Enterprise Sales Executive at PayPal, you will be responsible for acquiring and managing large enterprise merchants and channel partners. Your role will involve helping these clients understand how PayPal's online commerce infrastructure can enhance their payment processes, ultimately driving revenue growth for both PayPal and its partners. You will be a key player in the Enterprise Sales team, focusing on strategic execution and relationship management with major companies in North America.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the customer's business needs in detail and align their needs with appropriate solutions to create value that drives new sales and growth opportunities.
  • Build a strategic framework to identify and prioritize the right opportunities.
  • Drive sales growth through successful execution, organizational planning, customer service and outstanding execution of all regional Enterprise programs.
  • Own the full sales cycle including prospecting, outreach, qualifying, pitching, and closing business.
  • Oversee the expansion of PayPal's existing enterprise footprint.
  • Develop and refine PayPal's Americas Enterprise strategy, guiding investment decisions with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other supporting teams.
  • Develop relationships with executive stakeholders at new clients.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience selling complex solutions to Fortune 1000 companies.
  • Proven track record of successfully carrying quota as an individual contributor.
  • Proven consultative sales abilities and proven ability to work well in a matrix environment, collaborate across multiple departments and influence all levels within an organization.
  • Assimilates new information readily and can apply this knowledge within a customer organization.
  • Prior payments knowledge is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with upper middle market and enterprise companies.
  • In-depth understanding of the buyer journey and ability to lead a complex, multi-party sale in a highly consultative manner.
  • Adept at building value in competitive situations and enjoy working on products that require deep product understanding, combined with technical knowledge.
  • Naturally analytical and enjoy digging into business models and helping customers quantify their investment decisions.
