About The Position

As a Lead Application Developer on the MMA Application Development team, you'll head a team of developers in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of applications. These applications are vital to the success of the organization and add value to our client's experience. As a lead developer you will both mentor and teach other developers, as well as promote MMA (Marsh & McLennan Agency) technology standards, process, and procedures of the software development life cycle. Through servant-style leadership, you will manage a team of developers capable of handling complex projects and resulting in high-quality products.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead a Custom Application Development Team.
• Experience in delivering highly scalable digital products.
• Hands-on experience with Agile software development.
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Blazor, C#, .NET, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with API Management systems like Apigee and Informatica, and REST API design.
• Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS public cloud technology stack.
• Experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and build/test automation tools.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Knowledge of the Insurance or Finance Industry.
