About the position

The Lead Applications Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions within the Supply Management Systems Group. This role involves working with modern technologies such as .NET, C#, JQuery, MVC, and Angular to support the supply chain needs of a major food services provider. The successful candidate will lead a team of developers, manage complex financial calculations, and ensure high-performance systems operate efficiently under tight processing constraints.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement technical solutions within the Supply Management space.
• Work with business owners and users to document their requirements.
• Architect the overall solution and develop functional and technical documentation as needed.
• Assist with the development of individual components and coordinate with the development team.
• Perform code reviews and coordinate unit testing, QA testing, and User Acceptance testing.
• Provide ongoing Production support for the entire suite of applications, including timely resolution of Production incidents.
• Mentor and supervise other team members, both onshore and offshore.
• Balance multiple factors when choosing a solution design, including speed to market, cost, and impact on existing systems.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a senior developer or team lead role.
• Management, team lead, or supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience with SQL Server and Oracle, T-SQL and PL/SQL, and implementing high-performing solutions.
• Extensive experience in the .NET stack: ASP.NET WebForms, MVC, and Angular (C# preferred).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
