About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant as part of the Public, Regulatory and Corporate Affairs Division of the Wells Fargo Legal Department. This role is pivotal in providing operational and administrative support to the Wells Fargo and Wells Fargo Bank Board of Directors and Committees, as well as the Corporate Secretary. The consultant will work closely with the Corporate Governance team to ensure that all board-related activities are executed smoothly and efficiently. The position requires a high level of organization and attention to detail, as it involves coordinating various logistics for meetings and events, managing communications, and maintaining essential records and directories. In this role, the Lead Business Execution Consultant will be responsible for supporting the Board of Directors and Committees by coordinating meeting logistics, which includes scheduling, planning, and organizing board meetings and events. This involves liaising with the Office of the Corporate Secretary, Wells Fargo management, and line of business partners to ensure that all necessary arrangements are made, including space planning, technology requirements, safety and security measures, and meal planning. The consultant will also track meeting attendance, manage access to relevant applications, and assist in onboarding and offboarding board members. The position requires the ability to refine processes for both remote and in-person meetings, manage calendars for board meetings, and engage with stakeholders to determine availability. Additionally, the consultant will be expected to influence and guide less experienced staff within the division, ensuring that best practices are followed and that the team operates effectively. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the corporate governance process at Wells Fargo.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Wells Fargo and Wells Fargo Bank Board of Directors and Committees and the Corporate Secretary in operational or administrative tasks, including coordination of meeting logistics.
  • Coordinate with the Office of the Corporate Secretary, Wells Fargo management, and line of business partners to schedule, plan and organize Board and Committee meetings or other board-related events.
  • Track meeting attendance and coordinate with team members to ensure accurate attendance record keeping and reporting.
  • Maintain the Board Directory and Resource Center.
  • Monitor certain email inboxes regarding Board communications and stakeholder inquiries.
  • Manage access management to Diligent and SharePoint applications and sites and related technology issues.
  • Help onboard and off-board Board members.
  • Refine processes for board and committee meetings (both remote and in-person) and all other processes.
  • Manage calendars of regular and special Board of Director meetings and director engagements with management and others.
  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced staff within the division.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

  • Strong technology skills, including the ability to manage hybrid meetings (in-person and virtual attendees).
  • Experience managing multiple responsibilities associated with a corporate legal office.
  • Proficiency in corporate governance and corporate secretarial matters.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, strong self-motivator with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvement.
