The Lead Carpenter is a vital role within McKenzie Construction, responsible for coordinating carpentry, painting, and flooring installations across various projects. This position emphasizes quality workmanship, attention to detail, and effective communication with the Project Manager to ensure timely and professional job completion that meets high standards.

Responsibilities

• Install Metal Framing
• Install Drywall Mud and Tape Drywall
• Install Flooring both Carpet Squares and VCT
• Paint walls and trim
• Install wood wall moldings
• Communicate the project's progress to team members and management
• Troubleshoot problems that may occur
• Maintain professional relationships with government officials, worksite, and home office team members

Requirements

• 5 years of construction experience
• A valid driver's license
• Willingness to travel
• Able to pass a background check
