The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders to understand their business challenges and identify how data solutions can support their objectives.
  • Empower business and corporate functions with robust data capabilities, ensuring clear lineage to products, services, and business processes, providing valuable data insights within the business context, and facilitating seamless data access.
  • Facilitate a culture of continuous improvement and data systems thinking.
  • Partner with stakeholders to recommend, design, and deliver strategic data solutions to solve data modernization, data integration, and consumption challenges, while ensuring integration across capabilities.
  • Translate data usage requirements into specifications for data management and reporting products.
  • Partner with technology peers to promote common architecture patterns and practices across the enterprise.
  • Provide engineering leadership for data management projects, ensuring sound solution & engineering practices.
  • Assess existing infrastructure and components to determine integration requirements for data management.
  • Create and provide technical documentation for integration processes to ensure clarity and understanding among non-technical stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop the data management engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and engineering excellence.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of data experience in the Banking & Financial Services sector from a technology, data, and/or business operations perspective.
  • 10+ years in solution design, architecture, engineering, and/or development.
  • 5+ years of experience in data management and/or data product development.
  • Have either an AWS associate or professional certification (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience as an Integration Engineer or similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in science, business, management, or finance-related fields.
  • Advanced degree is a plus.
