About The Position

The Lead DevOps Engineer at Infosys will play a crucial role in interfacing with key stakeholders and applying technical proficiency across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This position involves creating high-level design artifacts, delivering high-quality code, leading validation for testing, and supporting implementation and transition activities. The role emphasizes teamwork, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence in a diverse environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience in DevOps and knowledge of the full SDLC lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Lean/Agile development methodologies.

Nice To Haves

• At least 4 years of experience in designing and implementing Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) using DevOps tools.
• Experience with AWS (AWS certification is a plus).
• Knowledge of Continuous Deployment using Ansible.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Kubernetes.
• Scripting skills in Python.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a diverse team environment.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Interface with key stakeholders to gather requirements and define application architecture.
• Create high-level design artifacts for software development.
• Deliver high-quality code for assigned modules.
• Lead validation for all types of testing activities.
• Support implementation, transition, and warranty activities.
