About The Position

The Lead Engineer (Cloud & DevOps) will serve as a technical expert and team leader, overseeing cloud infrastructure support, network architecture, information security, IT system administration, and DevOps processes. This role is crucial for coordinating and managing the technical and management aspects of the Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps team, focusing on driving efficiency, security, and collaboration within the organization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure support and DevOps roles.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong background in IaaS, PaaS, IaaC, and cloud-native deployments.
• Proficient in AWS and Azure services, particularly AWS Cloud IAM and Azure AD.
• In-depth understanding of security topologies and information security principles.
• Experience with IT system administration and patching tools like BigFix.
• Proven expertise in Agile methodologies and ITSM tools like Jira.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in relevant technologies is a plus.
• Experience managing people and mentoring team members.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems like ServiceNow and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the technical aspects of cloud infrastructure and DevOps requirements.
• Drive efficiency, security, and collaboration within the team.
• Design and manage core network infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
• Implement and optimize DevOps practices to enhance the development and deployment lifecycle.
• Manage SAML and OAuth protocols for secure authentication and authorization.
• Ensure security best practices for infrastructure and data.
• Administer IT systems (Linux and Windows) and manage patching tools.
• Monitor and troubleshoot workloads in Kubernetes across AWS and Azure.
• Deploy and support Application Performance Management tools.
