About the position

You will serve as a LEAD FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the G80000, Comptroller Group of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. In this role, you will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities. You will communicate the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values and incorporate these into the team's goals, objectives, work products and services. Additionally, you will represent the team to obtain resources and convey team findings and recommendations to program officials or other customers. You will also formulate budgets and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities, including presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds.
  • Communicate the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values.
  • Incorporate strategic goals into the team's objectives and work products.
  • Represent the team to obtain resources and convey findings to program officials.
  • Formulate budgets and estimates to support plans and programs.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
  • Must meet time-in-band requirements for current federal employees.
  • Must be registered for Selective Service if born after 12-31-59.
  • Must obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Must achieve Financial Management Level 2 certification within prescribed timelines.
  • Must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft.
