About the position
The Lead Dental Hygienist at CCH is responsible for providing both clinical and administrative support within the dental team. This role emphasizes delivering high-quality dental hygiene services while ensuring practice efficiency and patient-centered care. The position combines hands-on patient care with leadership responsibilities, requiring a balance of clinical expertise and team management skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical dental hygiene services to patients of all ages.
- Ensure high standards of care and practice efficiency.
- Lead and manage the dental hygiene team.
- Collaborate with other dental staff to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain proficiency with Electronic Dental Records.
- Participate in community outreach and public health initiatives.
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
- Active Michigan licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
- Minimum of five years of clinical experience in dental hygiene.
- Ability to work cooperatively with staff and others involved in patient care.
- Knowledge of public health principles and practices.
