About the position

The Lead iOS Mobile Developer will be responsible for developing new mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms, contributing to existing applications, and ensuring a high-quality user experience. This role involves collaborating with product and design teams to translate user requirements into effective technical solutions, as well as improving code quality through testing and code reviews. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of mobile app ecosystems and be able to tackle complex problems effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop new mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms
• Contribute to existing apps written in Swift, Kotlin, Qt, or Java
• Integrate with back-end data sources and web services
• Deliver a great mobile user experience that exceeds customer expectations
• Help improve code quality through writing unit tests, automation, and performing code reviews
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to technology, algorithms, and products
• Work with product and design teams to understand end-user requirements and use cases, and translate those into effective technical solutions
• Knowledge and understanding of mobile app store ecosystems and requirements
• Ability to dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results within a set schedule

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or comparable experience in a related discipline
• Strong Object Oriented Programming and software design knowledge
• Apple iOS - Swift, Objective-C, X-code
• Android - Kotlin, Java, Android Studio
• Web/REST APIs
• JSON/XML/HTML/CSS/Javascript
• Jira, Confluence, Gitlab
• Scripting languages such as Python
• Cloud and IoT related technologies a plus
