About The Position

The Production Team Lead position at Alkegen is responsible for overseeing all production personnel in the daily operations of the plant, ensuring timely and consistent product output. This role involves coordinating production processes, training employees, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, and maintaining safety standards within the workplace.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of facility processes.
• General understanding of shop orders and prioritizing due dates.
• Ability to interact with team members in a professional manner.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• General problem-solving skills.
• General knowledge of computers and current MRP system.
• General understanding of safety policies and ability to demonstrate safe work behavior.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day production processes.
• Perform all manufacturing operator, shipping, and receiving jobs as needed.
• Help train employees and ensure they are performing adequately.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues to maintain standards.
• Assist operators in completing paperwork, documentation, and LX transactions accurately and timely.
• Assist in general housekeeping of the department.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures while maintaining a safe working environment.
• Perform special projects or continuous improvement activities as needed.
