Lead Product Designer

About the position

As a product designer at Alchemy, you'll be at the frontier of web3 design, crafting exceptional experiences for users. You'll play a central role in pioneering how people interact with blockchain, impacting millions. Working closely with peer designers, product managers, and engineers, you'll translate complex technical problems into simple, delightful solutions. This role requires a unique combination of curiosity, craftsmanship, and a collaborative spirit to transform Alchemy's products into industry-defining experiences.

Responsibilities

• Craft cohesive experiences: Partner with engineers, PMs, and designers to create a consistent, engaging user experience across products
• Innovate in web3: Tackle web3 challenges, set new standards, and explore fresh approaches for top-tier developer and user experiences
• Deliver impactful designs: Move from sketches to high-fidelity prototypes, guiding development to bring designs to life
• Champion the user: Prioritize simplicity, accessibility, and user-centered design in all decisions
• Conduct user research: Engage directly with users and developers to gather insights that drive smart, data-backed design

Requirements

• 6 - 10+ years of proven product design experience in cross-functional, fast-paced environments
• Proficiency in Figma, interaction design, and visual design
• Strong design craft: Create polished, user-friendly interfaces
• Empathy for customers: Seek to understand user needs, and filter meaningful insights from feedback
• Collaborative spirit: Work closely with engineers, PMs, and designers to foster a connected, communicative team
