Lead Product Manager, Growth

About the position

We're looking for a Lead Product Manager of Job Seeker Growth to lead the strategy and execution behind growing ZipRecruiter's job seeker base. In this role, you will drive user acquisition in the most cost-effective way possible while collaborating with cross-functional teams, including multiple engineering squads. You'll optimize existing growth channels, experiment with new strategies, and establish clear success metrics to maximize impact. Responsibilities

• Develop and prioritize strategies to increase job seeker registrations and drive sustained growth
• Optimize SEO and paid acquisition channels while identifying and testing new opportunities
• Define and refine cost-effectiveness metrics to assess performance across all channels
• Lead and collaborate with engineering, marketing, and data teams to execute growth initiatives
• Balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution, from data analysis to UI refinement
• Drive a culture of experimentation and iteration, using data to inform decisions

Requirements

• Ability to work in Eastern or Central Time zones to collaborate with Tel Aviv-based engineering teams
• 6+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams focused on growth
• 4+ years of formal product management experience with a track record of driving results
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to inform growth strategies
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to facilitate collaboration with engineers
• Highly organized, structured thinker with a strong sense of urgency
• Helicopter pilot mentality - can easily switch from high level strategy to UI polish and data model details

Nice-to-haves

• Proven experience driving user acquisition through SEO
• 2+ years of experience managing or directing product teams
