About the position

Build your career with IU Health! We have an exciting opportunity available for a Lead Senior Financial Analyst to join the Government Programs team at our Indianapolis location on a hybrid schedule. Government Programs is a small, innovative, supportive and highly collaborative Team. Individual's responsibilities will be split between 340B and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement. Individual will be responsible for growing the 340B Program which includes identifying 340B opportunities and registering hospitals and various sites for 340B eligibility. Individual will be responsible for 1-2 cost reports which includes preparation and review of MAC adjustments. Assist in addressing reimbursement needs of Leadership which includes researching a topic and calculating reimbursement impacts of various scenarios. Completion of Models 3-4 times a year to support settlement entries. Completion of Medicaid DSH Eligibility and HSL surveys.

Responsibilities

  • Grow the 340B Program by identifying opportunities and registering hospitals and various sites for 340B eligibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • 3+ years of relevant financial or operational analysis experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
  • Analytical experience working with complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products/applications, with strong Microsoft Excel experience required.
  • Relational database and financial or operational modeling experience is a plus.
