About the position

The Lead Software Engineer for Reference Data Platforms will be responsible for leading the development of high-performance, horizontally scalable applications. This role requires a strong problem-solver who can adapt quickly to new technologies and work independently with minimal supervision. The engineer will focus on enhancing the client Reference Data Platforms, ensuring robust performance and functionality through effective testing and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of high-performance applications for Reference Data Platforms.
• Perform functional, load, and performance testing, reporting metrics within available QA cycle time.
• Adapt and learn new technologies and skills quickly with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with team members to solve complex problems and improve processes.

Requirements

• Proven record of performing functional, load, and performance testing.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and skills.
• Experience with test-driven methodologies and automation of unit and regression tests.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with functional programming.
• Familiarity with graph technologies.
• Knowledge of Semantic Web (RDF) and Sparql.
• Experience with distributed computing technologies such as Zookeeper, Storm, Spark, and HDFS.
