About the position

As a member of Entity Technology Solutions within Digital Technology and Transformation (DTT), the Lead Technical Product Owner plays a pivotal role in leading the design, build, and support of financial systems that enable Chick-fil-A's emerging business lines. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and thought leadership, as it involves close collaboration with Financial Services stakeholders to support various business units, including Chick-fil-A Supply, Bay Center Foods, and Chick-fil-A International. The Lead Technical Product Owner will also work alongside other product owners within DTT and across departments to ensure alignment across all system applications and business outcomes. The role is centered around being the technical product owner for Oracle ERP Financials and Oracle EPM, where the individual will serve as the technical lead for integration capabilities between Oracle and any enterprise systems that require financial data, such as Workday, Warehouse Management, Supply Chain Planning, and Manufacturing Execution. This position will provide technical thought leadership throughout the entire project lifecycle, which includes discovery, scoping, process mapping, and implementation. Additionally, the Lead Technical Product Owner will partner with vertical business line (VBL) stakeholders to build a technology roadmap that aligns with business capability requirements. Resource planning and budgeting activities for the VBL and International technology landscape will also fall under the purview of this role. The individual will manage relationships with key technology vendors, ensuring accountability to service level agreements (SLAs) and contributing to the vendor's technology roadmap. Furthermore, the Lead Technical Product Owner will oversee the design, testing, and implementation of new functionalities and enhancements to the VBL Oracle Cloud environment, ensuring that the systems are robust and meet the evolving needs of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical product owner for Oracle ERP Financials and Oracle EPM.
  • Act as the technical lead for integration capabilities between Oracle and enterprise systems requiring financial data.
  • Provide technical thought leadership throughout the end-to-end lifecycle of projects, including discovery, scoping, process mapping, and implementation.
  • Partner with vertical business line stakeholders to build a technology roadmap according to business capability requirements.
  • Support resource planning and budgeting activities for the VBL and International technology landscape.
  • Manage relationships with key technology vendors, ensuring accountability to SLAs and contributing to the vendor's technology roadmap.
  • Oversee the design, testing, and implementation of new functionalities and enhancements to the VBL Oracle Cloud environment.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable product features.
  • Experience with technical systems, data structures, and language.
  • Experience in business process diagramming and analysis.
  • Ability to understand business needs and translate them to techno-functional requirements that deliver desired outcomes.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Agile development approaches and techniques.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
