About the position

This position is a staff level role that involves supervision and requires advanced certification in the relevant modality. For WIC/MAC, candidates must be registered mammographers, with stereotactic biopsy experience strongly recommended. The position at the 610 North St site requires a minimum of one advanced certification in addition to RT (R). The individual will be responsible for obtaining certification for the modality through ACR or another accrediting body. The role emphasizes the importance of practicing and advocating for Planetree customer service tenets, which include Ownership, Appearance, Communication, Commitment to Co-workers, Privacy, Waiting Customers, Safety Awareness, and Comfort and Attitude. The position also entails supervising the day-to-day operations of the modality, providing leadership in support of departmental and organizational missions, objectives, programs, and projects. Responsibilities include coordinating patient flow and scheduling to optimize modality utilization, ensuring appropriate customer access by creating patient schedules (IP, OP, Nursing Home), and performing administrative duties such as staff hiring, evaluation, work schedules, and assignments. Participation in corrective actions as needed is also expected.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the modality.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the relevant modality.
  • Demonstrated sound clinical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, both formal and informal.
  • Management and supervisory experience preferred.
