About the position

The Warehouse Operations role at Cardinal Health is responsible for managing a variety of tasks related to the receipt, storage, and shipment of products. This position involves both manual and automated processes to ensure efficient product flow from vendors to customers, while adhering to safety and quality standards. The role also includes training new employees and supporting the distribution center's operations.

Responsibilities

• Training new employees on company and departmental procedures as appropriate
• Measuring safety, productivity, and quality standards and ensuring they are met
• Coordinating housekeeping, inventory control, and complying with all QRA and safety requirements
• Supporting employees in the distribution center in all functions, including unloading trucks, accurately breaking down and stocking freight, and order processing
• Leading team meetings
• Solving minor issues
• Working in production as needed

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and follow-up skills
• 2-4 years experience in a warehouse/distribution environment preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with Excel knowledge preferred
• Great communication skills (bi-lingual is a plus!)
• Prior knowledge working with a WMS system
• Previous experience leading a team and sharing feedback with employees
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (PIT preferred)
