About the position
We are hiring a Lead WiFi Test Engineer! Join our team if you have a robust understanding of 802.11 Wi-Fi standards, RF fundamentals, and wireless security protocols. Ideal candidates will have experience working with Wi-Fi routers, extenders, mesh networking solutions, band steering, cloud-managed Wi-Fi solutions, and roaming protocols like 802.11 KVR.
Requirements
- Robust understanding of 802.11 Wi-Fi standards
- Knowledge of RF fundamentals
- Experience with wireless security protocols
- Experience working with Wi-Fi routers, extenders, and mesh networking solutions
- Familiarity with band steering and cloud-managed Wi-Fi solutions
- Knowledge of roaming protocols like 802.11 KVR
- Experience in WiFi Testing, Functional Testing, and Performance Testing
- Network Debugging & Packet Analysis skills
- Test Automation experience (Python, shell scripting)
- Familiarity with industry standard Wi-Fi test tools (Veri wave, IXIA Chariot, Alethea, Spirent, Wireshark, Omni peek)
- Understanding of Networking Protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, RADIUS)
