As a Lead Yoga Instructor at YogaSix Santa Rosa, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the yoga community and enhancing the overall experience for both students and fellow instructors. This part-time position is designed for an experienced yoga teacher who is eager to take on additional responsibilities beyond just teaching classes. You will be expected to embody the qualities of a great leader and teacher, including the ability to create connections, communicate effectively, and maintain a commitment to personal growth and transformation. Your journey as a yoga instructor will not only involve teaching but also mentoring and coaching other instructors, ensuring they have the tools and support needed to thrive in their roles. In this role, you will support the General Manager and the Department of Education by providing programming expertise, onboarding assistance, and ongoing coaching for the teaching roster at YogaSix Santa Rosa. Your responsibilities will include reviewing submitted sequences, auditioning new teachers, providing feedback, and leading format trainings. You will be expected to teach a minimum of 5-8 yoga classes per week across various formats, ensuring that you maintain a consistent presence in the studio. This position requires a strong understanding of YogaSix's core formats and the ability to provide constructive feedback to both new and existing teachers. The Lead Yoga Instructor will also be responsible for recruiting, auditioning, and developing teachers, fostering a supportive and empowering environment for growth. You will be expected to lead by example, uphold the core values of YogaSix, and act as an authority figure in the studio when the General Manager is unavailable.
