About The Position

Requirements

• 2+ years of related experience in food and cooking or sales/product demonstrations.
• Completion of H-E-B Wine selling certification or similar experience.
• Ability to complete TABC Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform selling activation events in the Cooking Connection kitchen.
• Assist in the development of recipes targeted to the local customer base.
• Engage customers by creating food experiences and providing cooking demonstrations.
• Offer advice for menu and meal planning, scaling recipes based on customer needs.
• Conduct cooking method demonstrations and execute food prep methods efficiently.
• Serve as the culinary expert, answering questions and recommending ingredient variations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, recalling dietary needs and preferences.
• Contribute culinary insights and trends to in-store cooking events.
• Assist in cooking classes, wine education, and dinner series execution.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
