The Leasing Agent is responsible for assisting the Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager in maintaining all aspects of property operations, with a specific focus on leasing, marketing, and client relations functions. This role is crucial in striving for 100% occupancy by retaining existing clients, leasing current availability, and pre-leasing future availability. The Leasing Agent will engage with potential residents, provide tours of the property, and ensure that all leasing processes are handled efficiently and professionally. In this position, the Leasing Agent will manage all aspects of the leasing process, which includes providing tours, qualifying prospects, preparing lease paperwork, and completing move-in paperwork. Daily follow-up with phone and email inquiries is essential, as the Leasing Agent will provide leasing information, make appointments, create and follow up with maintenance requests, and handle or escalate resident complaints as necessary. Maintaining accurate client records in accordance with company policy is also a key responsibility, along with updating daily reports concerning notices to vacate, vacancy reports, and activity reports. The Leasing Agent will physically walk models, the leasing office, and the clubhouse daily to ensure that each area meets the company’s standards. Completing all marketing and advertising tasks as assigned is also part of the role, ensuring that the property is well-promoted and visible to potential clients.
