The Leasing Agent will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of inquiries and applications, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed in accordance with company procedures and Equal Housing Opportunity (EHO) requirements. Additionally, the Leasing Agent will conduct marketing surveys, assist in creating promotional materials, and make recommendations based on market analysis to enhance the leasing process. The Leasing Agent will work closely with the Property Manager to maintain all aspects of property operations, ensuring that the office, business center, clubhouse, models, and market-ready apartments are in pristine condition. This includes performing regular inspections of the property, managing cleanliness, and reporting any maintenance needs. The role also involves community outreach, where the Leasing Agent will make contacts with local employers and real estate agencies to promote the property and attract potential residents. Responsibilities

  • Initiate and coordinate all phases of apartment leasing.
  • Assist the Property Manager in generating satisfactory cash flow and compliance with affordable housing programs.
  • Ensure excellent client service delivery.
  • Conduct apartment and property tours for prospective residents.
  • Manage residency inquiries via telephone and in-person, maintaining accurate records.
  • Complete necessary resident documentation for regulated affordable housing programs.
  • Screen and interview applicants, notifying them of acceptance or denial.
  • Conduct marketing surveys and make recommendations based on analysis.
  • Assist in composing flyers and promotional materials for residency.
  • Maintain all aspects of property operations as assigned by the Property Manager.
  • Ensure cleanliness and readiness of office, business center, clubhouse, and apartments.
  • Inspect property regularly and report maintenance needs.
  • Make community contacts for corporate and community outreach programs.
  • Accept and process payments for daily deposits.
  • Report property loss or liability-related incidents in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; college diploma preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable private transportation.
  • Minimum of two years of progressively responsible sales-related experience.
  • Demonstrated excellence in producing promotional materials.
  • Ability to meet the public with courtesy, tact, and poise.
  • Computer skills sufficient for data entry and daily operations.
  • Knowledge of Equal Housing Opportunity (EHO) requirements and applicable program regulations.
