About the position

Myan Management Group, LLC. is seeking a dedicated and motivated full-time Leasing Agent to join our team in Sparks, NV. In this role, you will be responsible for leasing units and providing exceptional customer service to both residents and prospective residents. The ideal candidate is someone who is committed to quality work and is eager to improve their skills continuously. This position offers a competitive pay starting at $17.50 per hour, depending on the property size, along with great benefits including health insurance and paid time off (PTO). As a Leasing Agent, your primary responsibility will be to optimize occupancy rates by leasing units and implementing effective lease renewal programs for existing residents. You will conduct site tours of model and available apartments, showcasing property amenities to potential tenants. Additionally, you will handle inquiries via telephone and social media, ensuring timely follow-up communication with prospective residents. Collaborating with property staff, you will develop and implement sales and marketing strategies aimed at increasing property traffic levels. Maintaining established closing ratios and striving to exceed budgeted occupancy percentages will be key performance indicators for your success in this role. You will also be responsible for preparing accurate rental paperwork and clearly communicating rental documents to both new and existing residents. Safety is a top priority; therefore, you will report any safety hazards immediately to the property manager. Furthermore, you will assist in ensuring that the grounds, buildings, and units are fully functional, safe, and visually appealing. This position typically requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with the possibility of weekend and overtime work.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Service industry experience (previous leasing experience preferred but not required).
  • Ability to work as scheduled, including being 'on call' as necessary.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Drug-free status.
  • Strong prioritization and delegation skills.
