About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Leasing Agent/Office Assistant/Personal Assistant to join our team at Sundowner Apartments in Lubbock, TX. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $11 to $14, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are essential to the smooth operation of our property management office. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple responsibilities while providing excellent customer service to our residents and prospective tenants. As a Leasing Agent, you will be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, greeting them warmly and professionally in the office. You will handle rent and utility payments, show apartments to potential residents, and answer phone inquiries. Your organizational skills will be put to use as you cover for the property manager during their absence, ensuring that all office tasks are completed efficiently. This includes filing, data entry, scanning, and various other computer-related tasks. In addition to office duties, you will assist with property maintenance tasks, such as delivering materials, cleaning, and changing light bulbs. You will also be responsible for updating marketing materials and advertisements, processing applications, and inspecting apartments after maintenance or cleaning activities. Running errands and shopping for office supplies or property needs will also be part of your responsibilities. We are looking for someone who is not only task-driven but also possesses a friendly demeanor and a professional appearance, as you will be representing our community to residents and visitors alike.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Driver's License
  • 1 year of customer service experience (preferred)

  • Experience in property management (entry level)
