About the position

Commercial and Residential Management Group is seeking a Leasing Agent for the Marcola Apartment Homes, a brand-new 312-unit lease-up apartment community located in Springfield, OR. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills and a keen attention to detail. The Leasing Agent will play a crucial role in the leasing process, which includes a variety of responsibilities such as answering phone calls, greeting and assisting residents, conducting tours for prospective tenants, maintaining the community's curb appeal, marketing available units, and accurately preparing leases and other necessary documents. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented team environment and are eager to contribute to the success of the leasing team. The Leasing Agent will work part-time, specifically on Saturdays through Mondays from 9 AM to 6 PM, totaling 24 hours per week. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $18 to $22, with additional lease-up bonuses available to enhance earnings. The Leasing Agent will be eligible for benefits starting from the first of the month following 30 days of employment, which includes dental and vision insurance, employer-paid life insurance, and voluntary insurance options. Furthermore, the opportunity to enroll in a 401(k) program with employer matching is available after 90 days of employment. The company also emphasizes work/life balance by providing an Employee Assistance Program accessible from the first day of employment, along with paid sick time and birthday time off.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and greet residents and prospects.
  • Assist residents with inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct tours of the apartment community for prospective tenants.
  • Maintain the curb appeal of the apartment community.
  • Market available units effectively to attract potential renters.
  • Accurately prepare leases and other necessary documents.

Requirements

  • One (1) year of previous customer service experience is required.
  • One (1) year of previous property management, sales, or leasing agent experience is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of MS365 including TEAMS, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, motivation, and high energy.
  • Awareness and ability to adhere to all landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Labor Laws, Fair Housing, and safety protocols.
  • Possess current and valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and clean driving record for work-related errands.
  • High School degree or equivalent.
