About the position

The Leasing Agent at Laurel Village is responsible for assisting in the effective operation of the apartment community by performing leasing, marketing, customer service, and administrative duties. This role requires a combination of independent work and teamwork to create a welcoming environment for residents and prospective tenants.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective and current residents in a warm and welcoming manner.
• Conduct property tours for potential residents.
• Compile and process residential applications.
• Navigate and update data through the property management software.
• Coordinate lease signings and conduct move-in orientations for new residents.
• Assist with resident services as needed.
• Log and audit resident packages received throughout the day.
• Perform unit inspections to ensure market readiness.
• Adhere to organizational policies & procedures as well as MN Fair Housing laws.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills with an understanding of the Internet and its uses for marketing.
• Minimum of one year experience in customer service or sales related field, preferably in property management.
