About the position

Commercial and Residential Management Group is seeking a Leasing Agent for the 312-unit lease-up apartment community of Marcola Apartment Homes located in Springfield, OR. This brand-new apartment community features amenities such as an outdoor swimming pool, basketball court, and fitness center. The Leasing Agent will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of apartment leasing, which includes answering phone calls, greeting and assisting residents, conducting tours for prospective tenants, maintaining the community's curb appeal, marketing available units, and accurately preparing leases and other necessary documents. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented team environment and are passionate about providing exceptional customer service. The Leasing Agent will work part-time, specifically on Saturdays through Mondays from 9 AM to 6 PM, totaling 24 contracted hours per week. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $18 to $22, with additional compensation opportunities through exciting lease-up bonuses. Benefits for the Leasing Agent will commence on the first of the month following 30 days of employment, ensuring that employees are well-supported in their roles. Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and greet residents and prospects.
  • Assist residents with inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct tours of the apartment community for prospective tenants.
  • Maintain the curb appeal of the property.
  • Market available units effectively to attract potential renters.
  • Prepare leases and other necessary documents accurately.

Requirements

  • One (1) year of previous customer service experience is required.
  • One (1) year of previous property management, sales, or leasing agent experience is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of MS365 including TEAMS, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, motivation, and high energy.
  • Awareness and ability to adhere to all landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Labor Laws, Fair Housing, and safety protocols.
  • Possess a current and valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record for work-related errands when needed.
  • High School degree or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in property management or sales is preferred.
