About the position

STYL Residential is looking for a Leasing Agent to apply outstanding customer service and sales skills at our community in Morrisville, NC. The Leasing Agent is responsible for leasing apartments to prospective residents, providing exceptional customer service, and acting as a brand ambassador. This role is ideal for a hardworking individual who is eager to grow their career in property management with a fast-growing company. In this position, you will oversee the sales process and provide an exceptional tour experience for prospective residents. You will proactively follow up with all current and prospective renters utilizing and maintaining a Customer Relationship Management database. Building and maintaining relationships with prospects and current residents is crucial to ensure retention and satisfaction. You will also contribute to the positive online reputation of the community and partner with marketing to generate awareness, interest, and excitement via social media. Additionally, you will assist in the planning and execution of resident engagement events, ensure that the tour path, apartment homes, and amenity spaces are clean and consistent with company standards, and follow all open and close procedures to company standards. Understanding product and market knowledge, which includes shopping competitive properties and completing market surveys, is essential. You will complete lease applications, assist with verification of application information, and utilize your customer service skills to professionally resolve issues. Completing weekly leasing reports accurately and timely, inspecting apartment homes prior to residents moving in to ensure a superior move-in experience, and accepting rent payments, security deposits, and other applicable fees are also part of your responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Prior customer service or sales experience is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred
  • A valid Driver's License and reliable transportation may be required based upon specific property needs
