About the position

As a Leasing Agent at Capstone Properties, LLC, you will work under the direct supervision of the Property Manager, playing a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to prospective, current, and future residents. Your primary responsibilities will encompass a variety of office, administrative, and leasing duties aimed at ensuring a smooth leasing process and maintaining high standards of service. You will be the first point of contact for potential residents, and your ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple tasks will be essential to your success in this role. Your day-to-day activities will include answering phone calls, managing leasing functions through lead tracking software, and following up with prospects to generate new leads. You will also be responsible for sorting office mail, scheduling and completing tour appointments, and maintaining organized filing systems. Collecting rent, writing receipts, and assisting with mailings are also part of your duties. Additionally, you will conduct follow-up maintenance calls to residents to assess the quality of work performed by the maintenance staff, maintain logs of vendors working within the building, and monitor office supplies. Preparing for move-ins will be another key aspect of your role, which includes managing keys, move-in packets, and conducting walkthroughs of units. You will also be expected to complete and audit lease files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date. Other duties may be assigned by the Property Manager as needed, allowing you to contribute to various aspects of property management and operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year sales experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of or experience working with the latest version of MS Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook
