In this position, the Leasing Agent will greet prospective residents, conduct comprehensive tours of the property, and effectively highlight the features and amenities of our apartment community. They will respond to inquiries from prospective residents via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate and detailed information about availability, pricing, lease terms, and the application process. The Leasing Agent will also conduct thorough applicant screenings, prepare lease agreements, and maintain organized leasing files. Building strong relationships with existing residents is essential, as the Leasing Agent will address their concerns and inquiries promptly, ensuring exceptional customer service. Additionally, the Leasing Agent will assist with marketing and advertising efforts, including social media updates and promotional events, to attract prospective residents and maximize occupancy rates. Collaboration with property management and maintenance staff is key to addressing resident needs and ensuring a well-maintained property. Responsibilities

  • Greet prospective residents and provide comprehensive tours of the property, highlighting features and amenities.
  • Respond to inquiries from prospective residents via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information about availability, pricing, lease terms, and application process.
  • Conduct thorough applicant screenings, including reviewing credit checks, background checks, and income verification.
  • Prepare and complete lease agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date leasing files, including resident information, lease documents, and correspondence.
  • Foster strong relationships with existing residents, addressing their concerns and inquiries promptly.
  • Assist with marketing and advertising efforts, including social media updates and promotional events, to attract prospective residents.
  • Collaborate with property management and maintenance staff to address resident needs and maintenance requests.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong background in apartment leasing with expertise in showcasing an apartment community.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents.
