About the position

Join our team as a Leasing Agent where you will play a crucial role in supporting the property management operations. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with exceptional customer relationship management skills and a solid understanding of property leasing and sales processes. The ideal candidate will assist in managing properties, handling office tasks, and ensuring efficient operations while providing top-notch service to tenants. Previous experience with LIHTC is preferred. In this role, you will assist in managing all aspects of the property, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations. You will support property tours, process rental applications, and negotiate lease agreements. Maintaining positive tenant relationships and addressing inquiries promptly with excellent customer service will be key responsibilities. You will coordinate move-ins and move-outs, ensuring units are well-prepared for occupancy, and assist in overseeing property maintenance, repairs, and work orders to ensure timely completion. Collaboration with the property manager to enforce community rules and regulations consistently will also be part of your duties. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining accurate records of tenant information, lease agreements, and financial transactions, while supporting marketing efforts to attract new tenants and maximize property occupancy.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Familiarity with LIHTC regulations, CMMS software like Yardi, and basic knowledge of property law.
  • Proficiency in office software applications for administrative tasks.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on interpersonal interactions.
  • Detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills to manage various tasks effectively.
