About the position

Hatch Management is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Multifamily Leasing Agent to join our team in New Braunfels, TX. As a Leasing Agent, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional living experiences for our residents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for real estate, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to build relationships with prospective and current residents. Your primary responsibility will be to lease apartments while delivering outstanding customer service and contributing to the overall success of our property management team. In this role, you will greet and assist prospective residents, providing tours of the property and available units. You will respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring that you provide accurate information about the property, amenities, and leasing terms. Conducting thorough property tours will be essential, as you will highlight features and benefits to prospective residents. You will also process rental applications, conduct background checks, and verify references to ensure a smooth leasing process. Additionally, you will prepare and execute lease agreements, ensuring that all documentation is complete and accurate. Staying informed about market conditions, competitor properties, and industry trends will be vital for your success. You will assist with marketing and advertising efforts to attract new residents and address and resolve resident concerns and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner. Participation in community events and activities will also be part of your responsibilities, as fostering a sense of community among residents is important. Lastly, maintaining accurate records of leasing activities, resident interactions, and property conditions will be crucial for effective property management.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in property management, leasing, or real estate is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Resman property management software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
