About the position

We are looking for a Leasing Agent to join our growing team at Vision & Beyond Group, a real estate investment company founded by active military members. Our mission is to serve and inspire others while leveraging the expertise we've acquired over the years. The ideal candidate will be an energetic self-starter who is eager to grow with the company. As a Leasing Agent, you will play a crucial role in our operations, focusing on customer service, data entry, and the leasing process. You will be responsible for managing all paperwork related to leasing, ensuring timely processing of applications, and maintaining accurate resident and property files. Your daily tasks will include tracking calls, following up with prospects, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and Equal Opportunities policies. You will also be involved in marketing efforts to enhance community visibility and organize resident activities. This position offers a dynamic work environment where you can develop your skills and contribute to the success of our team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and track calls and inquiries.
  • Handle all paperwork related to leasing in a timely manner, including data entry and application processing.
  • Print daily availability reports and stay informed about current rental rates, sizes, locations, and community amenities.
  • Accept and process all payments related to applications, move-ins, and monthly rentals, ensuring compliance with payment methods.
  • Maintain resident and property files accurately and efficiently.
  • Address resident requests and complaints courteously and efficiently.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly follow-up calls to prospects and engage in outreach to local businesses for marketing purposes.
  • Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook and Fair Housing regulations.
  • Maintain on-site marketing requirements, including model apartments and marketing inspections.
  • Organize community activities, such as resident parties and newsletters, in collaboration with other staff members.
  • Assist in the recruitment, interviewing, training, and mentoring of new leasing consultants.
  • Coordinate and implement resident retention, renewal, and referral programs, monitoring and reporting results to the Community Manager.
  • Identify leasing problems and propose solutions to address vacancy issues.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Sales or customer service experience is required.
  • Marketing experience, particularly in social media and online marketing, is a plus.
  • Must be computer literate, with familiarity in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in property management is a plus.

  • Experience in social media management is preferred.
